Ventura certified PCI compliant
Ventura, the customer management experts strengthened their offering this month when it was announced that they had been certified as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant.
The PCI DSS is the global data security standard set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to protect cardholder data and minimise the risk of fraud. The standard globally governs all merchants and organisations that store, process or transmit payment data. Any size of business must adhere to PCI DDS in order to accept payment cards. If they don't they could face huge fines.
Ventura, the level one merchant, received certification after the successful implementation of an 18 month project to meet PCI DSS.
